Chauffeur travel for London Art Fair 2027

An Islington fair-day plan for collectors, gallery guests and exhibitors, with the ticketed day and every onward London address kept clear.

The service standard

One London Art Fair itinerary keeps each confirmed address, lead passenger and onward movement together.

01 — The 2027 fair

Use the ticket date at the Business Design Centre

London Art Fair's official material lists the 2027 fair from Wednesday 20 to Sunday 24 January at the Business Design Centre, 52 Upper Street, Islington, London N1 0QH. FCET records the fair date, passenger names and first fixed commitment with that current venue. The organiser separately lists a VIP Preview on Tuesday 19 January. A preview invitation and a ticket for the main fair are different commitments, so the travel record uses the date and access information held by the passenger instead of treating the whole week as interchangeable.

A gallery appointment, hosted tour or agreed meeting can set the useful arrival target. The booking therefore starts with the commitment the passenger cannot move, then places the home, office, hotel or station collection before it with the complete address and named travellers. Reaching 52 Upper Street does not confirm entry to a stand, preview or hosted area. The passenger keeps the current ticket or invitation, while the chauffeur follows the lawful public road position available on the day and confirms the final pedestrian handover reference.

03 — More than one London stop

Keep gallery visits and dinners as separate sectors

A London Art Fair itinerary may continue to a gallery, hotel, private appointment or dinner. Each destination is recorded in full with its intended departure window, passengers and carried items, giving the chauffeur a usable sequence without relying on a venue name alone. When guests divide after the fair, each car receives the group it is carrying and that group's onward address. One lead passenger may coordinate changes, but a revision is attached only to the affected vehicle so another party's journey remains intact.

Day bags, catalogues, coats and any expected purchases are considered with the full passenger count. The return can require more room than the outward journey, so vehicle choice uses the fullest planned sector and does not assume that every item will fit beside the guests. First Class can suit one or two principals, while XL may suit a small party with more declared belongings. Oversized, fragile or specialist material is described before confirmation and assessed separately; a passenger booking is not treated as specialist art transport.

04 — Service on the day

The fair visit and onward address stay separate

The booking keeps the ticketed fair day, named passenger group and onward London address together, so a preview visit, public fair day and later gallery appointment retain their own timings.

Let current event information govern the final approach

The Business Design Centre address identifies the event site, but it does not grant vehicle access to an entrance, loading area or controlled space. FCET retains the passenger's current organiser information and confirms a lawful public reference that can be used for the booked time. The return instruction names the lead passenger and onward destination. The chauffeur confirms the usable meeting reference before the party leaves the fair, allowing for the public road conditions then in force without promising that the outward handover point will remain available.

Before travel, FCET checks the 2027 fair identity, ticket date, collection addresses, passenger group, carried items and onward plan. A change to a preview, appointment or evening destination is added to that dated instruction and shared with the assigned chauffeur. Journey cost follows the agreed car and movements. Any added stop or changed group is assessed for timing and capacity, while admission, stand access and the operation of the fair remain governed by London Art Fair and the passenger's valid booking information.
