01 — The airport journey

London City transfers from Berkshire

Arrange a London City airport taxi from Reading or Wokingham, with flight tracking for arrivals, meet & greet and direct door-to-terminal travel. London City Airport sits beside the Royal Docks in east London and is used by business and leisure travellers heading to destinations across the UK and Europe. FCET plans the longer journey from Berkshire around the booked flight and checks current road conditions before collection. London City has one public passenger terminal. For a short vehicle handover, the chauffeur follows signs to the designated Pick-Up area in the Short Stay car park; vehicles may not wait on the terminal forecourt. An in-hall name-board greeting needs enough parking time in Main Stay and an agreed public-arrivals point before walking together to the car.

02 — The passenger handover

The signed car park sets the pickup point

At London City, a quick pickup uses the signed paid Pick-Up area in Short Stay, close to the terminal. If the chauffeur is greeting passengers inside, park in Main Stay before meeting at the agreed public-arrivals point. The terminal forecourt is not a waiting or collection lane.

05 — Before departure

Collection details set the plan

We record the full collection address, booked terminal, requested arrival, passenger contact and every substantial luggage item before the chauffeur leaves. For departures, the terminal and airline timing determine the set-down instruction. The collection time is planned from the actual address rather than a town-wide estimate. FCET tracks the London City arrival and adjusts the chauffeur's timing when it lands early or is delayed. The chauffeur waits at the agreed public arrivals point with a name board, helps with luggage and follows the recorded onward address.

07 — The complete itinerary

Passenger, luggage and onward address

Passenger count and the full luggage list guide the vehicle class. Add pushchairs, mobility aids, sports bags and other substantial items before confirmation. An onward hotel, office, residence or station is recorded as a precise address. Any additional stop is included in the itinerary before travel. A return transfer can be booked with its own flight, terminal, date and passenger contact. Treating each sector separately prevents the outward terminal or collection note from being reused when the return movement is different.
