How to book a journey

FCET arranges address-led chauffeur journeys for meetings, hotels, events, stations, airports and private days out. Each booking starts with the complete collection and destination addresses. The travel date, passenger contact and required arrival belong with those addresses, giving the booking team a complete itinerary to discuss. Any second collection, intermediate visit or later return is recorded with its own details before the journey cost is confirmed.

A station connection names the rail destination and booked train. Cruise travel keeps the assigned terminal and boarding instruction together; airport travel records the flight, airline and actual terminal. Passenger and luggage totals include bags added at intermediate calls. Road figures guide the named journey, while current conditions shape confirmation. The Cambridge and Bath guides explicitly use station endpoints as representative road references. A fixed appointment and a flexible visit remain separate instructions. A colleague joining later changes the passenger and bag totals for that sector.
