01 — The terminal handover

Where the chauffeur meets you at London City Terminal

Your chauffeur waits in the ground-floor public arrivals area, beyond the arrivals exit at the agreed name-board point. The booking message repeats that location before travel, so the passenger has a named public point to follow after baggage reclaim and any border formalities. The relevant exit is the arrivals exit into the compact public terminal concourse. The chauffeur holds a name board and keeps the passenger contact available if the hall is busy or the party emerges by a different door.

For a departure, the car uses the signed charged Terminal Drop-off Zone directly in front of the terminal. The airport allows a maximum of ten minutes there, does not permit the vehicle to be left unattended, and requires the drop-off charge to be paid by midnight the following day. The chauffeur helps with booked luggage before the passenger follows the signed route into check-in. Approach via Hartmann Road and the signed terminal forecourt approach; the terminal building postcode is E16 2PX; current signs govern the exact lane.

03 — The return collection

Landing time starts the arrivals plan

FCET tracks the booked flight and adjusts the chauffeur's timing when it lands early or late. Landing is not the same as reaching the public hall: baggage, border formalities and the walk from the aircraft still sit between the runway and the meeting point. The chauffeur therefore works to the live flight and the agreed arrivals instruction, then makes contact at the name-board point.

The booking includes 15 minutes of complimentary airport waiting. If the passenger needs longer, the office and chauffeur keep communication open using the contact supplied with the booking. Once passenger and chauffeur are together, they move to the signed Pick Up Area at the terminal car park, using the airport's E16 2PB car-park postcode. The car is brought into the permitted collection process at the appropriate time, with luggage assistance at the accessible landside point.

04 — Passenger and luggage

Collection uses the signed Pick Up Area

The airport directs pickups to the signed Pick Up Area at the terminal car park, postcode E16 2PB. The chauffeur meets the passenger in the agreed public arrivals area, then walks with them to the authorised vehicle point. The departure drop-off lane is not a waiting or pickup area.

07 — From Berkshire and London

Planning the road journey to London City Terminal

The planning guide from Reading is 49.5 miles and 103 minutes; from Wokingham it is 47.8 miles and 99 minutes. From central London, allow around 8.7 miles and 37 minutes as a broad route guide. The precise collection address, traffic and terminal approach can change the time required, so the booked pickup is set against the requested terminal arrival.

Give us the flight, facility, pickup address, passenger mobile and substantial luggage. The journey cost is confirmed at booking for that itinerary. FCET is available 24/7, uses DBS-checked chauffeurs and has provided chauffeur-driven travel since 2004. A return sector carries its own flight and meeting instruction, so the outward set-down note is not used as the arrivals collection plan.
