01 — RIAT27
Use the returning 2027 edition
The Royal International Air Tattoo's official site lists RIAT27 at RAF Fairford from Friday 16 to Sunday 18 July 2027. FCET records the passenger's exact ticket day and any hospitality commitment because each admission choice belongs to a dated event instruction. The organiser announced that the 2026 event would not take place and that the Air Tattoo would return in 2027. A 2027 journey therefore begins with the new ticket and current organiser information; no travel or access instruction from the cancelled edition is treated as current permission.
RAF Fairford identifies the planned event site, but it does not tell a chauffeur which controlled route, car park or entrance applies to an individual ticket. The passenger supplies the current RIAT travel information that accompanies their booking, and the chauffeur follows public directions available on the day. FCET does not infer permission to enter the showground, pass a checkpoint, stop on a restricted road or wait near an entrance. The travel instruction remains conditional on the organiser's current event arrangements and any later update issued for RIAT27.

03 — A long event day
Build departure around the ticketed commitment
The outward plan starts with the time the passenger needs to be ready for the ticketed day, then works backwards through every home or hotel collection. Loading, a public-road approach and the passenger's final event entry remain distinct parts of that schedule. A family, aviation group or hospitality party can share a vehicle when the passenger count and belongings fit. For several cars, each vehicle receives its own passenger list and one lead contact, preventing a change for one party from disturbing every arrival.
Day bags, outerwear, mobility items and hotel luggage are recorded before a vehicle is assigned. The plan accounts for everything travelling on the fullest sector, including belongings added after the first collection address. First Class can suit one or two travellers, while XL may suit a larger party or fuller load. Specialist equipment and unusually large items must be described and are not assumed to fit; ticket rules and event restrictions remain matters for the organiser and passenger.

05 — Service on the day
RIAT27 replaces the cancelled 2026 journey
The 2027 ticket day, current organiser information and complete passenger plan govern the journey; no instruction from the cancelled 2026 event is carried forward as access permission.
06 — After the display
Keep one lead passenger and onward address
The return instruction includes a realistic window, the full onward address and one passenger responsible for updates. The chauffeur confirms a lawful public reference after checking the road position available; the outward route does not guarantee the same meeting arrangement later. Passengers remain together until the car is identified. If the party is dividing between hotels or homes, those groups and destinations are allocated before travel so no one is assigned to an improvised movement at the end of the event.
The booking is reviewed against the 16–18 July 2027 edition, selected ticket day, passenger list and current organiser information. Because the previous edition was cancelled, FCET treats later operational updates as part of the live travel instruction. Journey cost follows the agreed vehicle and movements. If the organiser changes the event plan or the passenger changes their destination, FCET assesses the updated instruction before confirming it and retains the named lead passenger as the single contact for the vehicle.
