Chauffeur travel for the Tingle Creek Festival

A two-day fixture plan for Sandown Park, with the chosen day, enclosure, A3 and A307 approach, winter belongings and post-racing return recorded together.

01 — 4–5 December 2026

Name the correct festival day before timing the car

The Jockey Club lists the Betfair Tingle Creek Festival at Sandown Park for Friday 4 and Saturday 5 December 2026. Friday opens the meeting; Saturday features the Betfair Tingle Creek Chase. FCET records the exact ticketed day before arranging the journey. A reception, hospitality meal or preferred time inside the enclosure can be earlier than racing’s main feature. The outward schedule works back through every collection, the final Esher approach, unloading and the walk required by the current event arrangement.

Sandown Park Racecourse is on Portsmouth Road, Esher, Surrey KT10 9AJ. The venue directs drivers from the A3, or M25 junction 10 towards the A3, onto the A307 and advises entering Portsmouth Road in satellite navigation for the main approach. The event page and staff directions remain decisive on the day. The general route does not establish a private entrance, car park entitlement or chauffeur waiting point. FCET uses the ticket, enclosure and any official instruction supplied for the booking.

03 — Winter journey

Leave room for conditions and a concentrated arrival

Early December brings shorter daylight and winter clothing, while a major jump fixture concentrates traffic around Esher. The requested arrival allows for the road, stewarding and the final pedestrian handover. A fixed race time alone is not used as the party’s arrival target. Coats, footwear, day bags and overnight cases should be described before vehicle assignment. First Class may suit two guests; XL can give a group more room. The booking considers the complete load and collection pattern for both directions.

A two-day meeting does not mean one generic timetable. A Friday party and a Saturday party can have different hotels, enclosures and finish plans. FCET gives every booked movement its own passenger list, lead contact and final destination. Travel can begin in Reading, Wokingham, west London or at a Surrey hotel. Exact addresses replace town labels at booking. Multiple pickups are arranged in a practical order, and a non-travelling host can coordinate only the changes assigned to them.

05 — Service on the day

A winter finish needs a visible handover plan

The saved return note identifies the lead passenger, a recognisable public landmark and the onward address before the party enters the racecourse for the winter fixture.

06 — After the card

Confirm access before the group starts walking

Sandown’s road and parking arrangements can vary by fixture. FCET records a recognisable public collection reference and realistic window, then the chauffeur checks the available approach before sending the vehicle position to the lead passenger. Guests leave together after acknowledging that message. If they plan to depart before the final race, stay for later hospitality or connect with a train, dinner or flight, that intention should be stated before the outward journey is confirmed.

The linked Sandown Park Racecourse guide provides useful venue context alongside the passenger’s ticket and current fixture instructions. Representative road figures help compare broad origins. They do not create an approved set-down or collection point. FCET confirms journey cost for the exact addresses and event plan agreed in the booking, with later changes reviewed separately.
