Use the confirmed 6–7 October 2027 technology show
The Emergency Tech Show will take place at NEC Birmingham on Wednesday 6 and Thursday 7 October 2027. The organiser describes a focused event where emergency-services technology meets operational need across data, communications, cyber security, mobile systems, command and control and interoperability. FCET records the selected day and first fixed commitment. A briefing, case-study session, technology meeting, speaking call or exhibitor responsibility provides the requested arrival target; admission and professional access remain with the organiser.
Digital leaders, IT specialists, operational decision-makers, procurement teams, speakers and technology suppliers may start and finish at different times. Each ETS movement identifies its travellers, collection addresses, opening technology engagement and authorised contact. The organiser identifies senior leaders, digital and IT specialists, operational managers and procurement leads as its focused audience. It also lists CPD-accredited sessions powered by Emergency Services Times; record a specific confirmed session or speaker obligation before using that strand to set arrival or collection.

02 — Service on the day
Technology attendance stays separate from response
The itinerary covers named passengers attending the Emergency Tech Show, their first commitment and onward address; it never substitutes for operational emergency transport.
03 — Intent boundary
Separate technology from the operational show
The Emergency Tech Show focuses digital capability and technology for emergency services. It is co-located with the Emergency Services Show, which presents the broader operational response, vehicles, equipment and specialist kit. International Security Expo is a separate security and resilience event at Olympia London. None of these event journeys is an emergency response, patient transport or operational mobilisation service. A later headquarters, supplier office or hotel is another planned sector with a complete address and time.
Laptop bags, uniforms, document cases, compact demonstration devices and hotel luggage are counted with the travelling party. Vehicle choice follows the fullest confirmed passenger movement. Controlled items, drones, large communications equipment, batteries, display structures and freight require separate specialist assessment. Passenger travel does not automatically include operational or exhibition equipment.
04 — After the event
The collection sequence at NEC Birmingham
- Current ticket and event directions identify the usable public approach.
- The chauffeur confirms a public reference with the lead passenger.
- The party boards only after a lawful position is confirmed.

06 — NEC destination
Use the NEC destination without claiming priority
The organiser lists the 2027 show in Halls 17, 18 and 19 at NEC Birmingham, postcode B40 1NT. These identify the exhibition area, not a car position. FCET agrees a practical lawful public-road reference for the booked time; attendance creates no vehicle priority, blue-light status, entrance right, stopping entitlement or waiting permission. The intended return window stays with the lead passenger and full onward address. The chauffeur confirms the usable public reference before the party leaves its final technology commitment.
The official themes include data sharing, communications, mobile systems, command and control and interoperability. A delegation comparing those systems may need a shared supplier debrief after its final confirmed meeting; record the debrief location and time as a separate movement instead of assuming it happens at the NEC. CPD attendees, procurement leads and exhibitors can have different final obligations even when they work for the same service. Keep each party's confirmed session, meeting or stand duty visible in the return instruction so no operational role is mistaken for emergency-transport priority.
