The service standard

One EVCharge Live UK itinerary keeps each confirmed address, lead passenger and onward movement together.

01 — Current edition

Use the September 2027 charging event

The organiser lists EVCharge Live UK for 21–23 September 2027 at the NEC Birmingham. Its exhibition brings together charge-point operators, installers, fleets, site owners, government teams and solution providers, alongside Solar & Storage Live UK. FCET records the chosen day and first fixed commitment. A roundtable, supplier meeting, speaking call, product discussion or exhibitor responsibility supplies the requested arrival target; registration and event access remain with the organiser.

Charge-point operators, asset owners, fleet managers, local-authority teams, energy specialists, speakers and suppliers may begin at different times. Each vehicle instruction names the passengers, collections, first engagement and contact authorised to approve a change. The organiser describes an exhibition, conference and networking areas, but individual access and meeting times can change. Confirm each traveller's registration, invitations and booked appointments before using an engagement as a timing anchor.

03 — Intent boundary

Separate charging from wider energy and vehicle shows

EVCharge Live UK concentrates electric-vehicle charging infrastructure and runs alongside Solar & Storage Live UK. The solar event covers a wider energy-project and storage audience, while the London EV Show is a separate electric-mobility exhibition at Excel London. The itinerary keeps the registered event name. A later depot, office, hotel or supplier dinner is another movement with a complete address and time. It is not inferred from the attendee's role or treated as part of the NEC destination.

Laptop bags, document cases, compact display devices and hotel luggage are counted with the passengers. Vehicle choice follows the fullest confirmed sector, including any material legitimately collected during the show. Charging units, cable reels, batteries, liquids, large stands and freight need separate assessment. A passenger booking is not a product-delivery service and does not automatically include equipment intended for installation.

07 — NEC destination

Use the NEC address without assuming access

The organiser lists the event at the NEC in Birmingham. FCET uses the venue and booked time to agree a practical lawful public-road reference; the event listing does not grant a particular entrance, stopping place, waiting position or collection right. The return record keeps an intended window, lead passenger and complete next address. The chauffeur confirms the usable public reference before the group leaves its final engagement, using conditions and instructions then in force.

An advertised session or networking area is not enough to set a passenger's collection time. Use the confirmed programme and booked appointments, and keep a separate return available when colleagues have different final engagements. If a traveller must attend a live session before departure, record that session as the final fixed commitment. Place any speaker follow-up or supplier meeting before the agreed collection; verify session and access details against the current organiser programme.
