01 — 26–29 August 2027
Match the car to the ticket and arrival day
Reading Festival’s official information page lists the 2027 event at Richfield Avenue from Thursday 26 to Sunday 29 August. It also says weekend early-entry ticket holders can access the campsites from Wednesday 25 August, so the ticket type can change the passenger’s actual travel date. FCET records whether the movement is for early entry, a camping arrival, a non-camping day visit or a return home. The requested handover time is then worked back through every collection address and the complete passenger load.
The organiser names Richfield Avenue in Reading as the festival site. Its current 2027 information does not yet publish a vehicle collection point, so this page does not carry forward a previous year’s traffic plan, taxi location or road restriction as though it applied in 2027. The booking retains any 2027 travel information released by the organiser and supplied by the passenger. The chauffeur follows current signs and staff direction on the day, without assuming access to the avenue, a gate, campsite or car park.

03 — Camping and day visits
Declare every bag before the vehicle is chosen
Camping luggage can occupy substantially more space than a day bag. Tents, bedding, cases and passenger belongings should be listed before confirmation, and each item must fit safely within the selected vehicle without relying on spare passenger seats. A non-camping visit has a different load and return pattern. The organiser says tickets are exchanged for wristbands on first entry, so passengers keep admission material with them and allow enough time to complete the event’s entry process after leaving the car.
A passenger may begin at a Reading home, a Berkshire address, a hotel or a station. FCET records the exact origin and does not treat the representative Reading map point as the passenger’s pickup. Where the festival journey connects with a train or flight, the booked service details and luggage remain part of the same itinerary. A tight connection should be declared before travel so its timing can be assessed against the festival plan.

05 — Service on the day
Every ticket type needs its own movement plan
The journey record identifies the ticket date, luggage, passenger contact and onward address, so a day visit and a camping arrival are not treated as the same movement.
06 — Collection after the visit
Agree who calls and where the party waits
FCET records a return window, lead passenger and recognisable public reference before the outward journey. The chauffeur checks current access and confirms the usable position before asking the group to leave the festival site. Guests stay together and follow the confirmed message. If several vehicles serve one booking, every car has its own passengers and destination, reducing the risk of a late change being applied to the wrong group.
The locale map and road figures use representative Reading, Wokingham and central London points. They provide planning context only and do not identify the 2027 festival’s vehicle route, entrance or collection arrangements. The booking uses exact addresses, the ticket date and type, requested arrival, passenger contacts, every declared item and the onward plan. Journey cost is confirmed for that itinerary, subject to the current organiser travel instruction used on the day.
