01 — Edition check
Confirm the next Birmingham event before travel
UK Construction Week Birmingham's 2026 edition ran from Tuesday 29 September to Thursday 1 October at the NEC. Those dates have passed. The organiser has not yet confirmed a later Birmingham edition on the pages checked for this update. For a future journey, FCET records the organiser-confirmed event day and first fixed commitment. A stage session, buyer meeting, supplier appointment, speaking call or exhibitor responsibility provides the requested arrival target.
Project leaders, contractors, consultants, specifiers, buyers, suppliers and speakers can begin at different times. Each vehicle instruction identifies its passengers, collection addresses and the contact authorised to approve a change. Colleagues can share when their first commitments align. Separate cars allow a speaker, exhibitor or procurement team to keep an independent reporting time and onward plan.

03 — Intent boundary
Keep the Birmingham event distinct
UK Construction Week Birmingham covers the wider construction supply chain at the NEC. London Build Expo is a separate London event, Futurebuild has its own built-environment programme, and Digital Construction Week concentrates on digital tools and processes. The booking keeps the exact event and city together. A project office, supplier facility, dinner or second Birmingham meeting becomes another sector with a complete address and time. The event name does not stand in for an onward destination.
Laptop bags, drawings, compact models, small product samples and hotel luggage are counted with the passengers. Vehicle choice follows the fullest planned movement, including items collected during the exhibition. Large models, tools, display structures, freight and specialist equipment need separate assessment. Passenger travel does not automatically include commercial deliveries.

05 — Service on the day
Construction teams keep project priorities clear
The itinerary retains each project, procurement or supplier group with its first UK Construction Week commitment and complete onward address throughout the Birmingham visit.
06 — NEC destination
Use the NEC address without assuming access
The organiser publishes NEC Birmingham, North Avenue, Marston Green, Birmingham B40 1NT. FCET uses that destination and the booked time to agree a practical public-road reference; hall names or venue signage do not create a vehicle entrance, stopping right or waiting permission. The return instruction retains an intended window, lead passenger and complete onward address. The chauffeur confirms the usable reference before the group leaves its final appointment.
Before travel, FCET checks the next organiser-confirmed Birmingham dates and venue, selected day, passenger names, collections, first commitments, declared items and onward destinations. The authorised contact supplies any confirmed change. UK Construction Week and the NEC govern registration, programme content and venue operations. FCET manages the agreed passenger movements and sectors.
