The service standard

One Unified Communications Expo itinerary keeps each confirmed address, lead passenger and onward movement together.

01 — Current edition

Use the October 2026 UCX London edition

Unified Communications Expo, presented as UCX London, takes place at Excel London on Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15 October 2026. The organiser focuses communications and collaboration technology, connected workspaces, colleague and customer experience, contact centres and workplace strategy. FCET records the chosen day and first fixed commitment. A keynote, supplier meeting, technical demonstration, speaking call or exhibitor responsibility provides the requested arrival target; registration and theatre access remain with UCX.

UC architects, AV professionals, IT leaders, contact-centre managers, customer-experience teams, workplace leaders, speakers and suppliers may start at different times. Each UCX vehicle record identifies its travellers, collection addresses, opening engagement and authorised contact. UCX publishes 09:30–17:30 for Wednesday and 09:30–16:30 for Thursday. Keep the selected day on the movement record before setting a collection, because the second day's advertised close is one hour earlier even when the same team attends both days.

03 — Intent boundary

Distinguish UCX from DTX and cloud events

UCX concentrates communication, collaboration and customer or colleague experience. It is co-located with DTX London, which covers broader digital transformation across technology, people and operations. Cloud & AI Infrastructure is a separate March event for cloud and infrastructure leaders. The travel record therefore uses the exact UCX registration and first commitment. A later customer office, partner briefing or team dinner becomes a separate movement with a complete address and time.

Laptop bags, headsets, compact collaboration devices, presentation cases and hotel luggage are counted with the passengers. Vehicle choice follows the fullest confirmed sector, including items collected during the event. Large displays, racks, batteries, stands, loose cabling and freight require separate assessment. Passenger transport is not an automatic delivery service for meeting-room, network or contact-centre equipment.

07 — Excel destination

Use the Excel address without promising an entrance

UCX publishes Excel London, Royal Victoria Dock, 1 Western Gateway, London E16 1XL. That address identifies the destination but does not guarantee a particular entrance, set-down point, waiting position or collection permission. FCET agrees a practical lawful public-road reference for the booked time. The return record keeps an intended window, lead passenger and next address, with the usable reference confirmed before the group leaves its final meeting.

The organiser says seminar and keynote seating is first come, first served. A desired session can inform the requested arrival buffer, but it is not a reserved seat; keep the return tied to the passenger's confirmed final commitment rather than assuming session access. Badges are printed at entrance kiosks using the unique code in the confirmation email. Make sure the travelling contact holds that code before departure, and allow any organiser-side badge process to remain separate from the vehicle's agreed arrival time.
