3–7 April 2028

Chauffeur travel for MACH Birmingham 2028

A manufacturing-technology itinerary for engineering leaders, production teams, buyers, suppliers, speakers and exhibitors at the NEC Birmingham.

The service standard

One MACH Birmingham itinerary keeps each confirmed address, lead passenger and onward movement together.

01 — Confirmed return

Use the April 2028 MACH edition

MACH returns to the NEC Birmingham from Monday 3 to Friday 7 April 2028. The current official homepage names the 2028 edition and presents MACH as the home of manufacturing and engineering. FCET records the selected day and first fixed responsibility. A supplier appointment, investment discussion, technical meeting, speaking call or exhibitor duty gives the journey its arrival target.

Engineering leaders, production teams, buyers, maintenance specialists and suppliers may spend the week on different priorities. Each vehicle instruction identifies the passengers, collection address, opening commitment and authorised contact. Separate cars protect an early exhibitor briefing or technical review while another team arrives for a later commercial meeting. A factory, supplier office, hotel or dinner after the NEC becomes a separate sector with a complete address.

03 — Previous-edition evidence

Do not project the 2026 floor plan into 2028

The organiser's why-visit page describes the 2026 edition through live machinery, manufacturing technologies and practical engineering knowledge. Its homepage now links to a 2028 floor plan, but earlier edition material does not confirm future exhibitors, demonstrations or the final programme. The journey follows the passenger's current 2028 booking information and confirmed appointment. Check the live floor plan and event instructions for the relevant hall; a floor-plan link does not grant a badge entitlement, loading route or demonstration time.

MACH is a manufacturing and engineering technology exhibition. Advanced Engineering UK serves broader engineering and manufacturing sectors in November 2026, while PlantWorx centres construction equipment and plant in June 2027. The booking retains the MACH name, April 2028 dates and NEC destination. That distinction matters when several technical events use the same venue across different seasons.

07 — Technical loads

Assess cases without treating a car as freight transport

Laptop bags, drawings, compact prototypes and hotel luggage are declared with the passengers. Capacity follows the fullest confirmed sector, including catalogues or small packaged items collected during the show. Machinery, tools, batteries, large prototypes, display structures and freight require separate logistics. Passenger vehicles are not assumed to provide equipment delivery, installation or unattended custody.

The organiser confirms the NEC Birmingham, and the venue publishes Birmingham B40 1NT. FCET uses the destination and booked time to agree a practical lawful public-road reference without inventing a future hall, entrance or waiting right. Before travel, the record is checked for the 3–7 April 2028 edition, selected day, named passengers, first commitments, declared items and onward addresses. Current organiser and venue directions govern the final approach.
