01 — The terminal handover
Where the chauffeur meets you at London Heliport
London Heliport sits beside the Thames at Bridges Court Road in Battersea. It is a controlled helicopter facility rather than a public airline terminal: operations requires a passenger manifest and may check photographic ID. Agree the flight operator, arrival slot, passenger contact and landside reception point before dispatch. The chauffeur waits only where heliport staff permit; no airside vehicle access is assumed.
For a departure, travel to Bridges Court Road, Battersea SW11 3BE, with the vehicle point confirmed before travel. All passengers check in with heliport operations before boarding and should be ready to show photo ID; an international flight requires a valid passport. The site says customer car parking is extremely limited, so a chauffeur should confirm the permitted landside set-down or waiting arrangement rather than assume parking. The 2024 building photograph below is not current lane guidance.

03 — Private-aviation collection
Operations confirms the landside handover
London Heliport controls passenger access and has very limited customer parking. The chauffeur follows the movement's confirmed reception and vehicle instruction rather than waiting at the riverfront pad.

04 — The return collection
Landing time starts the arrivals plan
A heliport arrival does not use a public airline arrivals hall. FCET works from the flight and slot details supplied for the booking, while the operator or passenger contact confirms when the party has been released to the agreed landside reception. Landing time alone does not authorise a vehicle to enter or wait within the controlled site.
The booking includes 15 minutes of complimentary airport waiting. If the party needs longer, the passenger or authorised contact updates the office and chauffeur. The vehicle uses the landside vehicle point reconfirmed by operations for the arrival, subject to the current operator's instruction. The chauffeur helps with declared luggage at the accessible landside point before confirming the onward address.
05 — Meeting your chauffeur
Five steps through London Heliport arrivals
- Confirm the operator, arrival slot and landside reception with FCET.
- Wait for the operator or passenger contact to confirm release after landing.
- Meet at the reception point approved by heliport operations.
- Confirm the passenger's name, luggage and onward destination.
- Continue to the permitted vehicle point; no airside access is assumed.

Planning the road journey to London Heliport
The planning guide from Reading is 40.1 miles and 67 minutes; from Wokingham it is 42.9 miles and 64 minutes. From central London, allow around 4.7 miles and 21 minutes as a broad route guide. The precise collection address, traffic and airfield reception approach can change the time required, so the booked pickup is set against the requested reception arrival.
Give us the flight, facility, pickup address, passenger mobile and substantial luggage. The journey cost is confirmed at booking for that itinerary. FCET is available 24/7, uses DBS-checked chauffeurs and has provided chauffeur-driven travel since 2004. A return sector carries its own flight and meeting instruction, so the outward set-down note is not used as the arrivals collection plan.
